Don't let money get in the way of providing homeless dogs a place to stay. We will pay the expenses, you provide the temporary indoor home. Fostering is one of the most rewarding experiences because YOU show a dog who was slated for death what it feels like to live again. Foster Family Application

Foster Coordinator

We need a few dedicated people to help us as foster coordinators. This volunteer opportunity would oversee 2-4 foster families and communicate with them weekly. A coordinator would be a point of contact for a foster family if they had questions or needs. Also, the coordinator would get to know the foster families and be able to evaluate what types of dogs coming in would be a good match for them. The coordinator would then work with the President to make sure everything is going well and would give foster home updates.  E-mail gbcr@mail.com if you are interested.

Applicant Screener

Do you love dogs but just can't adopt or foster? Do you live inside or even outside of the Cincinnati area? The applicant screening opportunity would be perfect for you! We are looking for someone to help us process applications by calling veterinary and personal references listed on the application. Also, you would look over the application to make sure it is complete and that it seems like a good match for the dog listed on the application. Once you have information about the applicant then you would report it to the individual completing the home visit/adoption. If this sounds like a way you can help, please e-mail gbcr@mail.com.

Special Event Planner

Are you the go-to person among friends and family when it comes to special events? If so, please consider volunteering your talents with us. We are looking for someone to help us plan 1-2 special events each year. These will be fundraising events. This is a volunteer position with a lot of flexibility so bring your creativity! Fundraising Chairman

Are you good at fund raising? If so, we are DESPERATE for your help. We are good at managing the dogs, now we need someone that is good at managing the money. If you have good ideas about fund raisers or partnering businesses, please please PLEASE e-mail us today. We also need people willing to help us sell fundraiser lollipops.
